The HSBC Basketball Classic: 10 Years And Counting

It’s back. The HSBC Basketball Classic returns for a tenth year, preparing b-ball players and fans everywhere for the new season.
The HSBC Classic is the largest annual pre-season high school basketball competition in North America as it involves over 2,000 athletes and 150 school teams. To add, HSBC donates $100,000 each year towards approximately 30 scholarships. This allows the tournament to award the extra exemplary, sportsmanlike and complete players and coaches in the tourney.
The event focuses on competitive basketball, but also includes many other divisions such as, cheerleading, First Nations and Wheelchair. Dance competitions, free throw contests and raffle draws are also a part of this huge event. There is something for everyone!
To perfect the already perfect, last year’s champions (the boys from St.Georges and the girls from Elgin Park) will return to defend their title. Will they be able to defend their championship? Find out starting December 7th.
